2020 Class Projects

Read to ride!

The project benefits OnBikes Pensacola, whose mission is to provide every at-needs child along the Gulf Coast with a brand-new bike, helmet, and lock to call their own.

The project is an incentive program for students at O.J. Semmes Elementary to read throughout the 2019-2020 school year. The LeaP class will visit individual classrooms, helping students with reading, literacy, Accelerated Reader tests, and more. At the end of the school year, the LeaP class will give away a bike, helmet, and lock to more than 200 students in the Read to Ride program.

We look forward to strengthening the reading aptitude of our community's students and improving their health through the Read to Ride program.

LeaP Throws the first pitch!

The project benefits The First Tee of Northwest Florida, a youth-serving organization that teaches golf as a life-long sport to instill character education through the game's inherent "Nine Core Values."

The project is to renovate and re-open the four baseball and softball batting cages at the historic 1958 Goofy Golf facility in Warrington. The project will build on existing improvements made to the netting, padding, and AstroTurf supported by an IMPACT 100 grant.

We look forward to the utilization of the renovated batting cages by children and youth sports teams throughout our community.
