Program Speaker - Jo Dawn Brown

Jo Dawn Brown is a proud mom of four, a dedicated military spouse. She was raised in Niceville before he husband’s military career blessed her with the opportunities to move around for the last 22 years. Her journey with Code Ninjas began when her son developed a passion for coding and a curiosity about the connection between hardware and software. While living in San Antonio, Jo Dawn discovered Code Ninjas and witnessed firsthand the incredible growth her son experienced through the program.

With her background in education, her husband's experience in coding, and the positive impact Code Ninjas had on their family, Jo Dawn knew that bringing Code Ninjas to the Gulf Coast was a natural next step. Upon her husband's final military assignment to the area, she helped open the first Code Ninjas center in Pensacola, where she now serves as Center Director.

Jo Dawn is passionate about empowering young minds through coding, robotics, and STEM education. She is thrilled to announce the upcoming opening of their second location, conveniently located across from the zoo, expected to open in August of this year.
