- Pensacola Regional Airport — Pensacola Regional Airport is the fastest growing airport between New Orleans and Jacksonville. The airport saw 1.5 million passengers in 2004 and experienced a 40 percent passenger growth since 2001. This increase in passenger traffic through the Florida Panhandle area has triggered an expansion and improvement project at the Pensacola Regional Airport.

By Automobile
- Taxicabs and rental cars are available throughout the area.
- New Florida residents must obtain a Florida driver's license within 30 days after establishing residence here (out-of-state students and those in the armed forces are exempt). Licenses are issued by the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles
- Automobiles must be registered (as well as licensed) within 30 days of arrival in Escambia County at the County Tax Collector's Office. Vehicles are registered on a staggered basis, with the registration period ending on the last day of the month before the registered owner's birth month.
- Automobile liability insurance is mandatory in the State of Florida, and drivers are required to carry proof of insurance at all times
- State law also requires drivers and all passengers in the front seat to wear a seatbelt or ride in a restraining device. Children from infancy to 2 years of age must be strapped into approved infant car seats, and children from 2-4 years old must ride in either approved seats or a standard automobile seat belt
