Chamber of Commerce Salutes Military
May 8, 2008:The Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce celebrates Military Appreciation Month at Gopher Club Breakfast on May 13 at the Pensacola Civic Center. CAPT John Pruitt, USN (Ret.) will present an overview of the importance of Military Appreciation Month and provide a snapshot of the planned events and activities. Members of each branch of service will attend and be honored.
Sallis and Associates Recognized as May Small Business of the Month
April 25, 2008: The Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce recognizes Sallis Associates Incorporated as the May Small Business of the Month. Established in 2006, Sallis Associates, Inc. is a premier architectural firm specializing in custom design of public and private buildings. Sallis employs an architect, project manager and CAD technician.
Coastal Moving and Storage Receives Small Business of the Year Award
April 22, 2008: The Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce announced today its Small Business of the Year for 2008. The award goes to Coastal Moving and Storage. Jay Bradshaw owns the business with his wife and together they have established a successful moving and storage business in the Pensacola Bay area.
Chamber Announces the First Slated Tenant of the New Gulf Coast Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship
April 17, 2008: The new Gulf Coast Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE), a partnership of the Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce and Pensacola Junior College, will open doors to their first tenant on May 1. The first slated tenant is Blink MD, a Pensacola-based medical software company. Blink MD has already developed partnerships with the Institute for Human and Machine Cognition and a local technology company.
