The Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce announces the August Small Business of the Month: Avalex Technologies.
Avalex Technologies has more than 15 years of experience in every aspect of manufacturing rugged and reliable aircraft display systems, digital recorders and digital moving map systems to include hardware and software integration, development and modification.
Avalex employees work diligently to fulfill the company's mission of providing safe, reliable, state-of-the-art special mission avionics, services and repair capabilities to customers. They continually examine how they can improve product quality, reliability, on time delivery and customer satisfaction.
The company is the leading national supplier of flat panel displays, digital mapping systems, digital video recorders and sensor pointing systems for both the airborne surveillance and military markets. Avalex continues to grow year to year and was recently named to Inc. 5,000's list of fastest growing companies for the 2nd consecutive year.
All Avalex engineering, design, manufacturing, sales, support and repairs are performed at their Pensacola facility. The Avalex offices are located in historic downtown Pensacola.
The company operates within a fun and uplifting environment. The company's recreation committee plans an outside activity each quarter at which employees spend time together outside of work.
In addition to their business excellence, Avalex also contributes significant volunteer time to the community during working hours. Their employees serve in an assortment of community volunteer organizations. Their staff supports Pensacola Young Professionals and Internship Pensacola as well as the School District of Escambia County as mentors to elementary school students.
