Small Business Week History

The Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, the Florida Small Business Development Center, the University of West Florida Small Business Develoment Center and Pensacola Junior College are partnering again to present Small Business Week the second week of May.

For more than half a century, the Small Business Administration (SBA) has celebrated small and medium-sized business. Locally, the second week of May has come to mean something special to small business owners in the Pensacola Bay Area. It has come to be a time when the accomplishments of small businesses are recognized.

In 2007, Small Business Week has further developed by moving the Business EXPO to the second week in May.

Join the Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, the Florida Small Business Development Center, the University of West Florida Small Business Develoment Center and Pensacola Junior College for a week of small business innovation during Small Business Week 2007.
