Small Business Week History

In 2007, the Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, the Florida Small Business Development Center, the University of West Florida Small Business Development Center and Pensacola Junior College are partnered to present Small Business Week the second week of May.

For more than half a century, the Small Business Administration (SBA) has celebrated small and medium-sized business. Locally, small business week has come to mean something special to small business owners in the Pensacola Bay Area. It has come to be a time when the accomplishments of small businesses are recognized.
