The Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce recognized five Pensacola Area Commitment to Excellence (PACE) Award winners at the 49th Annual PACE Awards last evening. The Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce congratulates all of this year’s distinguished winners and thanks them for their service to the community.

The PACE Awards were created by the Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce in 1959 as the BIP Awards, or Business, Industry & Professional Awards, as a way to honor those outstanding individuals by naming them Emerging Leader of the Year, Business Leader of the Year, Professional Leader of the Year, Spirit of Pensacola and Community Leader of the Year.
This year’s event was held on Pensacola Beach at the Hilton Pensacola Beach Gulf Front. The PACE Awards were sponsored by: WEAR, Highpointe Hotel Corporation and University of West Florida
